This epitome of the Delta Jook Joint opened in 1963 in Merigold, MS, and became a popular destination for blues aficionados and college students. After owner Willie Seaberry’s death, the club remained a tourist attraction on the Mississippi Blues Trail.  Fortunately I had photographed it some months before it burned down a few years back.
